SALON POLICY

Updated salon policies 18th Jan 2022

 

Ayana Beauty Bar Require a non-refundable booking fee of 50% on all new bookings. Your booking fee will need to be paid at time of booking to secure your treatment.
All payments can be paid by credit/debit card, cash or bank transfer.

Remainder of your treatment cost must be paid in full at the end of your treatment time.

Our booking system asks you to confirm your vaccine status upon booking with us. By booking in and paying your booking fee you are agreeing that you are either double vaxxed against covid-19 or have a medical excemption. This is law and booking fees will not be refunded if you lie and have to be turned away once at the salon. 


As courtesy to our staff and other clients we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment. 
You will forfeit your 50% booking fee if you;

- Fail to give 24 hours notice when cancelling or changing your appointment. (Covid symptoms exempt shown pcr testing site / to say you were tested to have your fee waved and used at a later date)

- If you miss your appointment time.

If you show up late to your appointment, your treatment time will be shortened with full cost charged.

Booking fees may be transferred to another appointment time or client if more than 24 hours notice is given.


As courtesy to our staff and other clients we require a minimum of 24hours notice to cancel or change your appointment in anyway.
You will be sent an automatic SMS from our point of sale system and EMAIL for confirmation 48 hours prior to your appointment so please ensure you have put the correct mobile and email in the correct spots.​
If you fail to give a minimum of 24hours notice to cancel or change your appointment or if you fail to show up at all you will not be able to re booked with us for any future appointment.
If you do need to cancel within 24 hours please send us a text or call us and leave a message especially if you are unwell and in the cases that you are unwell/ family emergency you will be able to be rebooked. 
If you are unwell the 14 day policy stands and you will need to be re booked 14 days post last symptom to ensure you are no longer contagious.
(Also if it turns out to be covid you would need to wait a further 14 days if you live with others to ensure they are not infected)

Due to DHHS restrictions it is important to show up on time and not alter your appointment to ensure we have adequate time for cleaning between clients.
If you show up late to your appointment the full appointment cost of what was booked in will be charged and your appointment time may be shortened. (ie: if you booked in for a brow wax and tint you may only be able to get the wax and still charged for a wax and tint)



 

Remainder of your treatment cost must be paid in full at the end of your treatment via our EFT machine, or Afterpay.


Kids In The Salon

Due to the nature of our business and covid-19 we are unable to accomodate anyone else within the salon including children that are not getting a treatment. Please come alone to your appointment. If a child if getting their treatment (Such as eyebrow waxing) they must come to the treatment area alone. Any parent must wait either in the waiting area (if no one else is there) or outside.
