SALON POLICY

URGENT POLICY UPDATE REGARDING ILLNESS!

 

While we have always had salon policies in place with coming to your appointment while sick or recently been sick. 
We feel it needed to be urgently updated due to the increasing number of cases of illness both within Australia and globally at the moment. 

 

 

We work in very close proximity to your face and the likely-hood of us catching it from you is very high!
Things like gastro or a simple cold can be contagious for up-to 2 weeks post last symptom. 
Our salon runs at full capacity and it is much easier rescheduling 1 or 2 clients than an entire 2 weeks if we get sick.

 

Please also refrain from bringing sick children into the salon also.

Please reschedule your appointment by 2 weeks if you have been anywhere overseas.
In the 2 weeks post being home if you have had any illness, (even as simple as a temp or a runny nose) please reschedule a further 2 weeks from the last symptom. 

Please reschedule your appointment if you have been unwell or been around anyone unwell in the past 2 weeks.
This includes but not limited to; runny rose, cough, fever, upset stomach, nausea. 

 

All booking fees in relation to this remain still non refundable however they will be transferred across to your next appointment 2 -4 weeks later. 
(one transfer per person within 3 months)

 

Booking Fees

Ayana Beauty Bar Require a non-refundable booking fee of 50% on all new bookings. Your booking fee will need to be paid at time of booking to secure your treatment.
All payments can be paid by credit/debit card, cash or bank transfer.

Remainder of your treatment cost must be paid in full at the end of your treatment time.


As courtesy to our staff and other clients we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment. 
You will forfeit your 50% booking fee if you;

- Fail to give 24 hours notice when cancelling or changing your appointment.

- If you miss your appointment time.

If you show up late to your appointment, your treatment time will be shortened with full cost charged.

Booking fees may be transferred to another appointment time or client if more than 24 hours notice is given.

Kids In The Salon

Due to the nature of our business we have a lot of sharp dangerous implements that would seriously injure children. We kindly ask for you to book your treatments at a time when you are child-free as our insurance does not cover your children. 
If you need to bring your children. You may bring them at your own risk. 

Clean Lashes

Just as you brush your teeth, wash your body and shampoo your hair. Cleansing your lashes is also essential to remove make up, excess oil build up.

By cleansing your lashes with an eyelash extension cleanser you

  • Are reducing your chance of eye infections caused by excess oil build up and bacteria.

  • Will have longer lasting lashes.



Most lash salons will stock a cleanser. We do not recommend baby shampoo or anything that is not specially formulated for eyelash extensions as we can not guarantee it does not have ingredients in it that do not work well with the extension adhesive.

Please show up to your appointment with cleansed lashes by using a lash extension cleanser. This will help achieve optimal bond of the adhesive to the natural lash.

Lash cleanser can be provided to cleanse your lashes prior to your lash appointment if needed. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to do so to avoid running into your lashing time.

Ayana Beauty Bar will not take responsibility to extensions not lasting if you are not using the correct products.
Refills must be done at a maximum of 4 weeks apart and have a minimum or 15% remaining to be classed as an infill.

Due to Ayana's high standards we do not fill other salons work. This is for a number of reasons.

  • Quality of work may not be the same.

  • Different lash brands may look slightly different (length of curl may be our slightly)

  • If you lose a significant amount of lashes within the first week. We can not guarantee that it is solely our work that has had the problem.
